This week's top rental charts from U.S. game rental company GameFly, representing the most requested games for the week ending September 14th, highlight both to-be-released and already released games in a unique demand-specific chart.
This week once again sees the overall charts dominated entirely by Xbox 360 titles, with the highly anticipated
Halo 3 front and center. Former top spot-holder
Stranglehold returns to the second position, where it remained for two weeks prior to its stint at number one, while
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare climbs into third after spending last week in spot five.
BioShock slumps to the sixth position, to have its fourth-place spot taken by EA's
Skate.
Medal of Honor: Airborne also takes a slide, from second into fifth position.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption maintains dominance for the sixth consecutive week atop the Wii charts, while
Carnival Games and
MySims swap the first and second spot as the latter prepares for release this week.
Mario Strikers Charged takes another step down this week into fifth, while
Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire nudges the highly anticipated
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles entirely out of the top ten.

Madden NFL '08, which fell out of the top five last week, returns to take the fifth place.

Finally, a break in the total
Pokemon dominance of the Game Boy Advance top five as
Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap enters third place in advance of the anticipated
Phantom Hourglass DS game. Firm favorite at number one for three weeks,
Pokemon Emerald, slips to second, while
Fire Red takes the top spot after vacillating around the lower edges of the top five for the past few weeks.
Sapphire continues its slow downward crawl to settle in the fourth spot, and
Ruby slips from fourth to fifth position.
