Valve suffered yet another leak related to
Half-Life 2, in which the company mistakenly released a file containing all of the dialogue from
Half-Life 2, along with the files for the
Counter-Strike: Source beta.
The file was sent to cyber cafés participating in the beta testing of the game last week and was apparently overlooked because the .gcf file format used is not meant to be opened.
It is assumed that the offending file will not be included when the beta code is sent to
Counter-Strike: Condition Zero owners in the coming days, although the plot of the game and its surprise ending have now been disseminated across the Internet.
