Guitar Hero: World Tour will take advantage of exclusive partnerships with music instrument and equipment manufacturers to feature in-game sponsorships and gear for players to earn.
Activision Publishing secured partnerships with a wide variety of companies, including Ampeg, Audio-Technica, EMG Pickups, Ernie Ball, Evans Drumheads, Guitar Center, Krank Amplification, Mackie, Marshall, Orange County Drum & Percussion, Pork Pie Percussion, Regal Tip, Sabian cymbals, Vox, and Zildjian.
The game will also feature digital re-creations of popular venues such as Amoeba Music, Live Nation’s House of Blues Sunset Strip, and San Francisco’s AT&T Park, all of which players will be able to perform at in the game.
Due later this year,
Guitar Hero: World Tour will be released for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and the Wii.
