Silicon Knights' Too Human demo, the previous record-holder, was available on Xbox Live Marketplace in June for nine days before exceeding one million downloads. The Star Wars: The Force Unleashed demo released through the PlayStation Network also saw a significant amount of downloads, with the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions seeing a combined total of 2.3 million downloads worldwide to date. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed ships in North America on September 16 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Wii, and Nintendo DS. The game will also be available in Southeast Asia and Australia on September 17, as well as in Europe on September 19.
