Salt Lake City-based hospital system Intermountain Healthcare has released a mobile game aimed at curbing youth obesity by encouraging children and teenagers to adopt healthier eating habits.
Salt Lake City-based hospital system Intermountain Healthcare has released a mobile game aimed at curbing youth obesity by encouraging children and teenagers to adopt healthier eating habits. Intermountain's LiVe, available as a free download for Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch platforms, allows players to set calorie intake goals and track meals eaten on a daily basis. LiVe also provides users with suggested daily exercises, and includes a selection of recommended lifestyle changes promoting weight loss. An iPad version of LiVe will be released on December 1st.
