Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?

Game developer VR1 Entertainment and publisher Jaleco USA announced a merger into a new company called <a href="http://www.jaleco.com">Jaleco Entertainment</a>.
The new company is the result of a recent acquisition by Pacific Century CyberWorks Japan of both VR1 and Jaleco, and the subsequent reorganization of these subsidiaries. Jaleco Entertainment employs 210 people, with headquarters in in Buffalo, NY; European headquarters in London, England; and development studios comprising 11 internal teams. The company said that it will continue to maintain an office in Boulder, CO, where VR1 was headquartered. The company plans to publish nine titles on six different platforms in the fourth quarter of this year, including Trailer Park Tycoon, Fighter Ace 3.5, and a number of action and adventure games for the Game Boy Advance, Playstation 2, and GameCube.
