Vector C Available for PS2

Codeplay has announced the release of Vector C, a vector unit compiler for the Playstation 2. Vector C allows developers familiar with C/C++ to write programs to run on the vector units right away. Other advantages to programming the Playstation 2 vector units in C/C++ include the ability to generate more complex vector unit codes, rapid prototyping, and the reduction of bottlenecks by moving code onto the vector units.
