Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?
The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
Sony announced that this August it will launch online support for the PS2 in the U.S.
Using a network adapter that Sony will sell for $39.99, the PS2 will be able to connect to the Internet via a dial-up or broadband Internet connection, and will support any ISP. The company didn't say where on the PS2 the adapter will connect; the PS2 features dual USB ports and a port on the back for hooking up a hard drive. Sony said it will start testing the online system with a small group of players this month, but did not say what games or other content will be available for PS2 users once the service launches.
