Side Effects Software Supports Mental Ray in Houdini 5

Mental Images has reached an agreement with Side Effects Software to provide the Mental Ray renderer as a support program for the Houdini 5 3D animation software package. This announcement is in response to the strong demand for Mental Ray’s realistic image rendering by effects companies. The mental ray rendering option will be commercially available with the release of Houdini 5.
