Officials from Microsoft have announced that the company has signed an agreement with TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.), the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturer, to extend its existing relationship to encompass the direct provision of chipsets for the next-generation Xbox console. TSMC are expected to provide the graphics chips for the new console, which have been designed for the company by ATI. Source: News.com
