Microsoft Firms Up Xbox Price, Launch Date For Canada

Microsoft Canada announced new plans for the Canadian launch of the Xbox.

The Xbox will be available for purchase in Canada at an estimated retail price of $459.99 (Canadian dollars), starting November 8. Microsoft Canada anticipates a launch library of 15 to 20 games, and the company expects to sell 1-1.5 million units across North America by the end of the holiday season.
