Following the closure of Melbourne, Australia-based Heroes Over the Pacific developer Transmission Games last year, former employees of the studio founded Trickstar, which has "a number" of games in production. Former Transmission CEO Mike Fegan has been director of Trickstar since January this year, according to a LinkedIn business profile under his name. Former Transmission studio head Tony Parkes' profile lists him as studio head of Trickstar. The studio's LinkedIn company profile also shows that several former Transmission employees are on board at Trickstar, some of whom were with Transmission for several years. Transmission announced its closure in October last year, and Transmission was formed shortly afterward in 2009. The company has been around since 1996, and is also behind Ashes Cricket 2009 and Heroes Over Europe. The studio has no announced games, but it has "a number of exciting new games in production." The website hosts logos for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PSN, Xbox Live Arcade, PC, iPhone, Wii and Mac. Trickstar is located in Prahan, part of Melbourne. Parkes' online business profile states that he'll be leading Transmission to develop "Xbox 360, PS3, PC, mobile and online titles."
