Under the terms of a new agreement, EA will handle distribution of German developer Sunflower Interactive’s Anno 1503 in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland while taking on publishing and distribution of the title in all markets save Japan. EA will also localize the game into at least ten languages. Anno 1503 is the sequel to Anno 1602, Germany’s best selling game ever. “The tremendous quality of Anno 1503 combined with EA's aggressive marketing and distribution will guarantee worldwide success beyond that achieved by Anno 1602,” said EA’s Tom Frisina, “I am especially happy to add European talent to the existing EA Distribution line-up.”
