Corel PainterT 6.1 Debuts at Macworld

Corel has a new release of Corel PainterT 6.1 software to users of the Corel Painter 6 Natural-Media creation tool. Users can download a free version of the latest update complete with new and enhanced features. Corel Painter 6 is a graphics application that lets users simulate natural media in a digital setting. It gives users an high levels of texture and realism so they can create digital artistic works very similar in appearance to those created by natural media, such as watercolors, charcoal, and chalk. The free Corel Painter 6.1 update for current Corel Painter 6 and MetaCreations Painter 6 users will include a palette of new features, enhancements and fixes. In addition to the enhancements made to the Soften, Sharpen and Highpass features, the new Woodcut effect lets users convert a photo into what appears to be a hand-rendered woodblock print of the photo.
