Xbox designers come together to fund student-led games

New fund aims to help USC game design students to "build their own future."
Newsbrief: Chanel Summers and Kevin Bachus were both founding team members for the original Xbox in 2001. They're also both alumni of the University of Southern California. Now they're coming back together to create a new fund to support students of USC's Interactive Media & Games Division. Dubbed the Bachus-Summers Fund for Innovation in Interactive Entertainment, the fund's purpose is twofold: "to recognize and reward the most innovative work by a student in the Interactive Media & Games Division and to encourage that student to build their own future." In addition to her involvement in the fund, Chanel Summers serves as an instructor at USC's IMGD, where she teaches a course on audio design. Via Venture Beat.
