Organizers of the serious games industry-focused Triangle Game Conference in Raleigh, North Carolina, announced that event registration is now open, and will continue until the conference begins on April 7th, 2010.
The Triangle Game Conference has expanded its focus with more speakers and topics than last year's event, and will return with more than twice as much space at the Raleigh Convention Center and Marriott City Center.
The conference will feature panels, lectures, and roundtable discussions led by representatives from regional video game companies. Attendees can participate in five educational tracks, including Game Development, Engines and Middleware, Immersive Learning, Business of Games, and Games and Media.
In addition to more than 50 planned speaker sessions, the 2010 Triangle Game Conference will feature a two-day Expo and a Career Lounge that will allow aspiring game developers to meet with industry professionals.
"TGC 2010 will gather leaders in game technology, serious games, immersive technology and games research to explore the latest developments and advances in the industry," said Alexander Macris, president of the Triangle Game Initiative.
"This year we have adopted the theme 'Immerse Yourself' because we want attendees to get immersed in a learning exchange on the game development and advanced learning technologies that are used and developed right here in the Triangle region of North Carolina."
