Recognizing the Filipino artists that worked on Uncharted 2 and 3

A short piece spotlighting the Filipino studios that did art outsourcing work for Uncharted 2 and 3.

It's no secret that the Uncharted series developed by Naughty Dog has been one of the best games this generation. Nathan Drake's adventures has also been a hit with gamers in the Philippines, and the November 2011 release of Uncharted 3 was highly anticipated in our shores. A lesser known fact about the Uncharted games though is that Filipino development studios did art outsourcing work for Uncharted 2 and 3.

Philippine-based studios Ladyluck Digital Media and Studio of Secret 6 were credited in Uncharted 3 (Ladyluck also worked on Uncharted 2), under studios that did art outsourcing for the game. The websites for the said studios also lists Uncharted 2 and 3 under their studio portfolio. Similarly, character artist Ronald "ra-gevz" Gebilaguin also lists Uncharted 2 and 3 under his resume.

I took images of Uncharted 3's end credits, wherein the names of Philippine-based studios and artists are listed, together with the type of work that they did for the game. Congrats to the developers and I hope they get to work on more AAA games in the future.
