First Game Education Summit Europe Announced, Call for Papers Issued

The Game Education Summit Europe, the first European conference for university game educators, announced that its inaugural event will take place at the Danish Academy of Digital Interactive Entertainment on June 22-23, 2010.
The Game Education Summit Europe, the first European conference for university game educators, announced that its inaugural event will take place at the Danish Academy of Digital Interactive Entertainment on June 22-23, 2010 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The summit will assemble local university educators, policymakers, and game industry professionals for networking and to promote the discussion of game education issues. "Europe is one of the nerve centers of global game development," said Game Path conference director Suzanne Freyjadis. "At GES Europe, game educators and industry leaders will develop working relationships, the foundation for sustained market growth -- and jobs -- in the years to come." Organizers have issued a call for presentation proposals covering several fields and topics, including education, course development, administration, research, and industry.
