Science and technology journal publisher A K Peters has issued a call for papers for The Computer Game Education Review (CGER), a peer-reviewed academic publication that will address a number of areas in the field of gaming education.
Submitted content may cover "curriculum organization, teaching techniques (e.g., conceptual vs. exemplary), game typology, societal impact, economic and commercial issues, legal aspects, and student evaluation that are of interest to faculty and institutions involved in the education and training of future game developers."
The CGER will publish original research, expert analysis, and summaries of the year's research findings in these areas and more.
CGER articles may be submitted online at
http://journaltool.akpeters.com/. The submission deadline is December 1st, 2009. The first issue of the journal will debut at the Game Developers Conference in 2010.
