The Carolina Games Summit has announced a call for speakers for its upcoming 2011 event featuring a series of panel sessions discussing independent game development, industry hiring practices, and serious games. The yearly event additionally brings together game players in the Carolina region for a weekend of gaming tournaments and publisher exhibitions. In 2010, the event featured the Zachariah Inks and John Lyons-hosted "Indie Studios on Tight Budgets" session, along with the student-focused "The Hiring Process" by Electronic Arts' Ryan Stradling and "Serious Gaming for Autism" presented by AutismSphere's John Eder and IBM's Phaedra Boinodiris. Similar presentations, to be announced at a later date, will be featured at this year's event. Submission details and ticket sales are available at the Carolina Games Summit official website. Next year's event will be held starting February 5th at Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
