11 Murphy’s Laws for Gaming

Who doesn’t know about Murphy’s Laws? They have duly played their role in justifying the ‘accidents’ of our lives. Here are 11 such interesting Murphy’s Laws ‘re-designed’ around gaming and the various stages of game development!

1. If the final build can crash, it will.
2. If there is a possibility of several bugs coming up, the one that will cause the most damage will come up in the final build.
3. If you perceive that there are four possible ways in which bugs can come up, and circumvent these, then a fifth bug, unprepared for, will promptly develop.
4. If the development seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.
5. You cannot successfully determine beforehand which shade of the yellow is better.
6. Every developer has a scheme for in-game purchases that will not work.
7. The other game always gets more downloads.
8. If you want to get over with a level bad enough, chances are you won't be able to complete it.
9. You will find an easy way to complete the level, after you've finished it.
10. When a bug is demonstrated to the developer, the game works perfectly.
11. Great games are never remembered and flappy birds are never forgotten.
