Did you play the 1999 cult open world adventure game Outcast, starring action hero Cutter Slade? Did you know the game was getting a remake? Truthfully, our answer to both these questions was "no," but that hasn't stopped us from taking an interest in Belgian developer Appeal's return to the series with Outcast: Second Contact.

Since the Outcast remake is now available on Steam, PS4 and Xbox One, we've invited developer Franck Sauer, who's worked to revive the Appeal name and get the Outcast rights back from Atari, onto the Gamasutra Twitch channel for a chat at 3:30PM EST.

If you've got questions about how making games has changed in the last two decades, you should definitely swing by and join us in Twitch chat to ask them! And while you're at it, be sure to follow the Gamasutra Twitch channel for more developer interviews, editor roundtables and gameplay commentary.
