Newsbrief: Cloud gaming service Gaikai has signed a deal with development tools company Autodesk to enable the use of the latter's Scaleform user interface within Gaikai's cloud platform.
The Scaleform middleware aids developers in leveraging the Adobe Flash toolset to create user interfaces, by providing streamlined development tools that require little programming support.
Key elements of Scaleform and Flash integrated into the Gaikai platform will give developers the tools necessary to creating and managing their own custom assets for the client frontend, the storefront and all game communication instances.
