Just a bit about myself.

Hi Folks,

When I grew up as a young lad one of my favorite things to do was sit and watch the old Ray Harryhausen films. You know the one's I'm talking about right? For example, the Sinbad movies my favorite of those was and still is the 7th voyage of Sinbad. The giant Cyclops always scared yet fascinated me at how real it looked, in fact, I thought it was real for a time. Mr. Harryhausen had a way of capturing motion with clay figures that was astounding. I never knew those creatures were clay until I was much older, but wow.

Now, several years later, I finally pursued my dream of becoming involved with 3D modeling and animation. I returned to school and graduated with my B. A. Visual Art - Game Art. Times have changed though and now instead of miniature models sculpted and created by hand and then painstakingly posed frame by frame into feature films we have digital films created with models created entirely on a computer, posed there and then rendered to film.  This is fantastic and I'm glad to be a part of it after all these years and hope to develop myself to become involved in these great new adventures.

Thanks Ray for inspiring me.

 Andy
