Alan Wake is a novelist who writes suspense novels, and has sold many copies. He decides that he needs a change of scenery, so he moves to Bright Falls, Washington. Everything seems very peaceful until events start taking place that mirror one of his horrific intense novels. When he tries to escape this horror with his finance, he finds himself caught up in a sinister mystery. As the darkness closes in around him, Alan’s only hope of survival is to stay in the light and escape the darkness.
