HTC has announced today that the HTC Vive is set to be bundled with the upcoming Fallout 4 VR, set to launch December 12th of this year. This follows after a $200 price cut for the Vive back in August, reducing the cost from $800 to $600 for the headset.

Fallout 4 VR will retail for $60, and those who purchase the HTC Vive bundle will receive a redemption code to download the game for free when it becomes available.

According to a press release, "Joel Breton, general manager of Vive Studios, said that the VR version of the title will have the same near-endless content as its non-VR console and PC counterparts, with hundreds of locations, characters, and quests fully playable in VR."

Those who already posses a Vive and also purchase Fallout 4 VR will able to sign up for a bonus three-month Viveport subscription hat will be made available before the game launches.

Gamasutra, VRDC, and GDC are sibling organizations under parent UBM Americas.
