Designer and writer Mohammad Fahmi, known for working on titles like Coffee Talk and What Comes After, has passed away.

Coffee Talk creator and writer Mohammad Fahmi has passed away.

The news was shared on social media by Fahmi's family and his colleagues at Coffee Talk developer Toge Productions.

"Today we've received the most devastating of news. Our beloved Fahmi, the writer of Coffee Talk and a beloved friend of Toge Productions has passed away. We are absolutely devastated by his early departure," wrote the studio.

"Thank you for everything you had done for Toge Productions, for the indie game industry, for your friends and family. We will never forget you and you will always be in our hearts."

Over the years, Fahmi worked on numerous projects including What Comes After, Afterlove EP, and Code Atma as a game designer, writer, and director.

He also spent time at Gameloft as a programmer and designer, lending his talents to games such as Asphalt 6: Adrenaline and The Oregon Trail: American Settler.
