Sony has confirmed the first seven PlayStation Network titles for the European launch of the PlayStation 3, also revealing UK pricing, with
Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection for £6.99,
Blast Factor for £3.49, and the free
Gran Turismo HD due to be available on the launch day of March 23rd.
According to an official statement from the firm,
Super Rub a Dub will be released on March 30th, followed by
flOw on April 6th,
Go! Sudoku on April 13th and
Go! Puzzle on April 20th. None of these titles yet have official pricing.
SCEE has also confirmed that the price of downloadable PlayStation Network games in the UK will vary between £1.99 and £6.99 ($3.90 to $13.71), depending on the title. Previously, only a price range of €2.99 to €9.99 ($3.95 to $13.20) in continental Europe
had been revealed, referenced as 'introductory pricing'.
In previous statements, the price of other downloadable content is indicated to start as low as €0.99 ($1.30), although no upper limit has so far been suggested. The examples of such content given includes premium video content, new SingStar music tracks and a “premium pack” for MotorStorm, which would include a new track, additional vehicles, liveries and multiplayer modes.
