Red Mile Replaces Sin City Developer

Developer Transmission Games is no longer involved in the video game adaption of Sin City, according to comments by publisher Red Mile Entertainment, which says it's replaced the developer on the project with an unnamed studio "a long time ago."
Developer Transmission Games is no longer involved in the video game adaption of Sin City, according to comments made by publisher Red Mile Entertainment. Red Mile acquired the rights to Frank Miller’s popular series of comic books in May 2007, with Transmission Games (Heroes of the Pacific) developing. Others involved in the production include the producer of The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay and Union Entertainment – who worked on The Red Star and The Darkness. It is unclear whether that producer's still involved in the project, but Red Mile tells consumer website GameSpot that Transmission Games has been replaced by a different as-yet-unnamed developer. Although no announcement has been made until now, the change apparently took place "quite a long time ago." Transmission says it's focusing on development of recently announced Heroes over Europe for 2009. No media has been released for the Sin City game and no details have been revealed regarding gameplay style or content. The game is due to launch in late 2009 on Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
