Irish-headquartered middleware networking firm DemonWare has announced that it is working with Atari to deliver networking on a number of titles that will be launched on next generation console platforms, including PSP and Xbox360.
Specifically, Paradigm Entertainment, a wholly owned subsidiary of Atari, and former developers of
Pilot Wings 64 and
Terminator 3: The Redemption is currently working on integrating DemonWare's network technology, which includes the DemonWare State Engine and DemonWare Matchmaking+, into their games.
DemonWare has a range of network products tailored to the needs of modern multiplayer gaming, and its technology is currently featured in titles including
Starship Troopers and
Stacked With Daniel Negreanu. The company recently opened its Vancouver office to provide additional customer support to its North American customers.
