Officials from Nintendo UK have revealed details of the company’s second quarter line-up of new releases for the Wii, Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance. From April to June only one first party Nintendo title will be released on the Wii – the previously announced Mario Strikers: Charged Football on May 25th. Super Paper Mario, which is due for release in North America next week, does not appear on the schedules, although Nintendo of Europe does plan to publish Hudson’s Wing Island on April 13th and Tecmo’s Pangya! Golf with Style in June. Other prominent third party releases for the Wii during the period include Cooking Mama from 505 Games and Eledees (aka Elebits) from Konami in April. Mortal Kombat: Armageddon from Midway is planned for May, alongside major multiformat movie licenses Spider-Man 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End – with Transformers also due in June. The Nintendo DS first party line-up is more varied, with Pokemon Ranger and Hotel Dusk: Room 215 on April 13th. Diddy Kong Racing DS is due on April 20th, with Picross DS on May 11th and Custom Robo Arena on May 25th. Also scheduled for unspecified dates during June are Wario: Master of Disguise, Kirby Mouse Attack (aka Kirby Squeak Squad), Metroid Prime Pinball and the tentatively named Puzzle League DS. No release date for Pokemon Diamond/Pearl has yet been announced. Major third party releases on the Nintendo DS include Harvest Moon DS on April 13th from Rising Star Games, The Settlers on April 19th from Ubisoft, Lunar Knights and Lost in Blue 2 from Konami in April and Final Fantasy III from Square Enix on May 4th. Meteos: Disney Magic from Disney Interactive is due in June, with Panzer Tactics DS from 10tacle Studios and Mech Assault: Phantom War from Majesco listed merely as “Q2”. Seven new titles are listed for the Game Boy Advance during the period, with the most prominent being the Nintendo published Final Fantasy V Advance on April 13th, Another World from ZOO Digital on April 27th and Final Fantasy VI Advance in June.
