Konami today announced No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise, a remake of the 2008 Wii game by Grasshopper Manufacture, would be coming exclusively to the PlayStation 3 in North America in 2011. First announced at this summer's GamesCom conference in Cologne, Heroes' Paradise will update the Wii original with HD graphics and support for the PlayStation 3's recently released Move motion controller as well as the more traditional DualShock 3. Today's announcement confirmed that the remake would be coming exclusively to Sony's PS3 and revealed new boss battles, game modes and side missions. Wii games including Warner Bros. Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest and EA's Dead Space Extraction and older titles like Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath are being ported to the PS3 with Move support. In an interview with Gamasutra earlier this year, SCEA's Rob Dyer said that while ports of older Wii games to the Move-enabled PS3 would be inevitable, the company would focus on enhancing those ports as much as possible for their re-release. "We'll do everything we can, whether it's up-res, add trophies, and do things and make it network-only so you don't see it on a disc," he said, "but at the same time, we don't have to approve it if we don't want to go down that path."
