The Game Awards return next month after a successful debut last year, and this week event organizers announced a list of award nominees that includes developers like From Software, Nina Freeman, CD Projekt Red and Psyonix.

Much like last year, the Developer of the Year Game Award nominee lineup is dominated by familiar faces like Nintendo and Bethesda Game Studios. Dig into the other categories, however, and you'll find nominations for everyone from Sam Barlow (Her Story) and Toby Fox (Undertale) to Ori & The Blind Forest developer Moon Studios and Rising Thunder studio Radiant Entertainment.

For your convenience we've taken the liberty of reprinting a select list of nominees for the 2015 Game Awards below in categories which may most interesting to developers. For the full list, check out The Game Awards website.

The event is once again produced by Geoff Keighley but will take place December 3rd in Los Angeles this year, a few hours' drive from last year's Las Vegas venue. It will also be streamed online via a plethora of channels that include Twitch, Xbox Live, PSN, Steam and the Wii U.
