Kinect will launch in Japan on November 20. The news was announced by Xbox Japan's General Manager, Takashi Sensui, in a press conference this morning. The camera will come bundled with
Kinect Adventures at a price of ¥14,800 ($176).
Additionally, two hardware bundles will be released on the same day in the region, a lower spec 4 GB Xbox 360 Slim bundled with the camera for ¥29,800 ($355), and a premium 250 GB console and Kinect bundle priced at ¥39,800 ($475).
Sensui announced that
Kinect Sports,
Sonic Free Riders,
Dance Evolution and
Crossboard 7 will all be launch titles for the hardware in the region.
Kinect Fitness and
Kinectimals will follow later in the year in Japan, while
Kinect Joy Ride will release in 2011.
Microsoft also confirmed the launch title
Lead: New Brain Training Where You Answer With Your Body, a body training game developed by Namco Bandai with input from the Japanese celebrity, Ryuta Kawashima (a.k.a. Dr. Kawashima) who helped developed the
Brain Age titles for Nintendo DS. Footage of the Kinect title from the press conference can be

Kinect launches in the U.S. on November 4 and on November 10 in Europe.
