Newsbrief: Disappointed with the amount of in-app purchases and advertising in mobile games aimed at kids, a new German games studio staffed by ex-Zynga veterans has launched that plans to go against the tide. Rocco Di Leo, Sascha Gobel and Tim Keszler, all previously at the defunct Zynga Germany studio, plan to release children's games through their new Kidcore company, which they say will provide learning experiences and be built around core values. Kidcore's games will combine education with entertainment, and all offer ways for parents to track their kids' daily activities and lessons from the games. The company plans to launch its first game on iOS and Android later this year. More details can be found on the Kidcore website.
