Developer and publisher Brash Entertainment has announced a partnership with Six Flags to release Six Flags Fun Park, a video game based on the theme park chain, to PlayStation 2, Wii, and Nintendo DS this fall in North America. The studio made headlines in May with reports of co-founder and former Massive Incorporated president Nicholas Longano leaving the company after a management shake-up at the firm. Established in 2007, Brash Entertainment’s focus has been in overseeing movie, music and TV tie-ins developed by external studios. Aimed at gamers of all ages, Six Flags Fun Park will provide a virtual theme park with quests for exploring uniquely themed areas and 40 mini-games. Players will be able to create custom characters, win prizes, and play against their friends in the multi-platform game. Said Brash Entertainment co-founder, chairman, and CEO Mitch Davis: “Everyone has memories of visiting theme parks with their families, and having a great time with games like the Ring Toss and Bumper Cars. With Six Flags Fun Park, we are re-imagining these time-honored tests of luck and skill, and launching the first virtual park in the Six Flags family, while taking advantage of today’s most popular gaming systems.”
