Xbox Live Arcade will see the 100th game added to the service this week, with licensed maze puzzle game Shrek-N-Roll
and Frozen Codebase-developed action title Screwjumper
coming as part of its regular Wednesday update.
Promising 16 mazes, Microsoft says Shrek-N-Roll
will "test your tilting and rolling skills" with single and both cooperative and competitive versus modes, and 24 unlockable characters from the Shrek film series including Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, and Puss in Boots. The game will retail for 800 Points ($10).
Also appearing Wednesday is Screwjumper
, the first title from the previously profiled
developer Frozen Codebase, founded by former Raven Software, Radical Entertainment, GarageGames and Astral Entertainment employees.
Published by THQ, the game has players "free-fall into the depths of a chaotic underworld, driving aliens back to their home world by destroying their precious mining equipment" across four different planets and a total of 20 mines in both single and multiplayer modes, again for 800 Points ($10).
