The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has revealed the nominees for its 2016 video game awards, with Everybody's Gone to the Rapture leading the pack by a country mile.

The Chinese Room's rural post-apocalyptic thriller has come out on top with 10 nominations, while The Witcher 3 and Her Story have received seven apiece.

Those titles are followed closely by Batman: Arkham Knight, Life is Strange, and Rocket League, which have bagged 5 nominations each.

All in all, 44 games have been recognized across 17 categories. BAFTA hopes the awards will showcase the very best games of the past 12 months, highlighting the achievements of the best and brightest developers in the UK and beyond.
