Newsbrief: Humble Hearts' action RPG Dust: An Elysian Tail has sold more than one million units across Xbox Live, Steam and GOG.com according to an announcement from Humble Hearts' founder and sole employee Dean Dodrill. It's been nearly two years since the game's initial release as part of the 2012 Xbox Live Summer of Arcade promotional event. Dodrill, a self-taught professional illustrator and animator who worked on Epic Games' Jazz Jackrabbit 2, developed the game almost single-handedly over a period of nearly four years. The story of how he pulled it off is a fascinating read, and is documented by Dodrill in a postmortem published on Gamasutra at the end of 2012.
