At GDC Europe 2013, Gamasutra's own Mike Rose provided the results of a video game critic survey which showed the best ways to get journalists to notice you and your game.
Since then, the balance of power has shifted to favor YouTubers and their legions of followers -- if your game is covered by a big YouTuber, expect big results. With this in mind, Rose has once again put together survey results that get to the heart of the matter, this time asking YouTubers what they're looking for when it comes to correspondence, assets and more. He shared the fruits of his labor with developers in a talk given during the GDC Europe 2014 Independent Games Summit.
It's a talk worth watching, so we've taken the liberty of embedding the free video of "How to Get Your Game Covered by YouTubers" above. You can also watch it here on the GDC Vault.
