Newsbrief: Valve plans to release a virtual-reality software development kit at its
Steam Dev Days conference next week, that it hopes will provide game developers with a standard interface to tackle VR.
Talking to the BBC, Valve's
Brian Coomer revealed that the VR tools will be part of a larger software kit from the company, that will also give developers standard methods for implementing the Steam Box and controller into their games.
Coomer said that Valve is working with other companies to bring its VR software development kit to fruition, although it isn't ready to divulge who just yet.
