Sony Computer Entertainment is footing the bill for any exhibition costs at the Tokyo Game Show's Indie Game Area this year, regardless of whichever platform each exhibitor is targeting. Applications for the Indie Game Area are now open, with successful applicants given space on the TGS 2014 expo floor to showcase their games. But those developers selected will not have to pay exhibition costs, as SCE has made a deal with TGS to cover these costs for the Indie Game Area. The company does not have a say in which games are selected, nor will it only cover PlayStation-bound games. "We don’t care if the game is on a PlayStation platform or not," noted SCE's Brad Douglas. "The more indie games, the better! Just bring cool stuff!" TGS 2014 will run from September 18 - 21 at the Makuhari Messe Convention Centre in Japan. The deadline for application is later this week -- you can apply on the expo website.
