Newsbrief: Raw Data has become the first virtual reality-exclusive game to top the overall Steam charts.

The early access first-person shooter briefly climbed to the summit of the Top Sellers chart last night, with the official Steam VR Twitter account offering developer Survios its congratulations.

The action title is currently only available on the Steam VR-powered HTC Vive, and launched yesterday for the discounted price of $31.99 -- its official RRP is $39.99.

At the time of writing, Raw Data sits in second place, having vacated the top spot for Total War: Warhammer - Call of the Beastmen
