Gamasutra's weekly column, "Saling The World", covers the top five sellers for every available platform in the United States, Japan, and Europe, providing an important update of sales patterns worldwide. This week's charts, with data taken from April 7th, 2011, find Just Dance 2 and Zumba Fitness topping cross-platform sales in North America and the UK, as Pokemon Black and White continue to lead the portable charts. Data for "Saling The World" comes courtesy of the public sales information on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, and Amazon.co.jp, with sales split out for each platform and territory, and pre-orders disregarded. This results in a true sense of what games are selling worldwide on the real-time updated service, as follows: Multiplatform North America: 1. Just Dance 2 (Ubisoft, Wii), 2. Kinect Sports (Microsoft, X360), 3. Pokemon White Version (Nintendo, DS), 4. Kinect Sensor with Kinect Adventures (Microsoft, X360), 5. Pokemon Black Version (Nintendo, DS). Japan: 1. Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2: Professional (Square Enix, DS), 2. Ebikore+ Amagami - Limited Edition (Kadokawa Games, PSP), 3. Chikyuu Boueigun 2 Portable (D3 Publisher, PSP), 4. Ebikore+ Amagami (Kadokawa Games, PSP), 5. Monster Hunter Portable 3rd (Capcom, PSP). UK: 1. Zumba Fitness (505 Games, Wii), 2. Pokemon White Version (Nintendo, DS), 3. Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars (LucasArts, Wii), 4. Just Dance 2 (Ubisoft, Wii), 5. Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board (Nintendo, Wii). A Kinect-specific sale at Amazon puts the Kinect Adventures-bundled accessory and Kinect Sports among the top five multiplatform sellers in North America, pushing former sales leaders Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 out of chart range. Square Enix's Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2: Professional leads the charts for the second week in a row in Japan, while 505 Games' fitness title Zumba Fitness overtakes Pokemon White Version for top honors in its debut week in the UK. Nintendo Wii North America: 1. Just Dance 2 (Ubisoft), 2. Zumba Fitness (Majesco), 3. Donkey Kong Country Returns (Nintendo), 4. Michael Jackson: The Experience (Ubisoft), 5. While Call of Duty: Black Ops and Crysis 2 report strong sales in the face of new competition from the discounted Kinect Sports, last week's domestic Xbox 360 sales leader Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 drops out of the top five after only a brief chart showing. Crysis 2 and Qute's shoot-'em-up compilation Eschatos debut as the platform's fastest-selling games in Japan, while two Call of Duty titles occupy the top chart spots in Europe.
