Newsbrief: As hinted at by Google this week, Razer is creating its own microconsole powered by the newly-unveiled Android TV -- and the company says it will have an emphasis on video games. Google announced Android TV yesterday, a modified version of the Android operating system designed to run on television hardware, including smart TVs, set top boxes and microconsoles. Razer took the opportunity to show off the games console that it has been working on, due for release later this year. The microconsole will use mobile and tablet touchscreen devices as controllers, while voice control can also be used. The device will also stream movies, music and apps, but Razer says it will be focused on games.
