Newsbrief: Mobile gaming company PlayPhone announced Tuesday that the SDK for its titular mobile social network now includes support for Windows Phone 7. With this new addition, the PlayPhone network now supports most major mobile platforms, including iOS, Android, and HTML5. The platform itself allows game developers to incorporate a number of additional social features into their games, ranging from chat functionality to cross-platform multiplayer. Speaking to Gamasutra late last year, PlayPhone senior vice president and general manager Anders Evju said the company hopes to make a mobile social network that focuses on player-to-player interaction over leaderboards and achievement tracking.
