Newsbrief: Days after releasing
Legend of Grimrock, Almost Human Games says that development costs for the old school first-person dungeon crawler have already been covered "many times over."
The independent Finnish developer says "the company seems pretty secure" now after the game -- which more resembles RPGs from decades ago than today's huge open-world titles like
Skyrim -- shot to the top of the sales chart for digital distribution service Steam.
Almost Human put out the Windows version of
Legend of Grimrock, its first shipped title, last Wednesday, taking preorders ahead of its release. The four-man studio intends to eventually release the game for Mac and iOS devices at a later date.
