Newsbrief: Marin County, California-based Nihilistic Software, best known for developing PS Vita installments in the Call of Duty and Resistance franchises, has changed its name as it shifts its business to focus on downloadable and mobile games. nStigate Games, as the studio is now known, marks a reorganization period at the company, after 14 years of developing games for retail on consoles with titles including Resistance: Burning Skies and PlayStation Move Heroes. Although the company said that there are no planned layoffs, it did note that over the next couple of months it will be looking to find new homes for some of its staff, and working towards "a smaller and more focused company."
