Newsbrief: In Japan, Namco Bandai is known as Bandai Namco. However, many of its subsidiaries, including those outside of Japan, still bear the Namco Bandai name - but not for long.
As discussed at a directors' meeting last week, and
as translated by Gematsu, the company has decided to rename all of its subsidiaries to Bandai Namco. For example, Namco Bandai Games America will soon become Bandai Namco Games America.
The company says that this name change is in aid of raising the value of its brand overseas. This change will come into effect on April 1.
