Kinect for Windows v2 will launch on July 15 and cost $199 -- you can currently preorder the device from the official Microsoft Store.
Of course, Microsoft recently decided to make Kinect non-mandatory with the Xbox One console. Notably, the price difference between the Xbox One and the Xbox One bundled with a Kinect is only $100, half of what this PC version costs.
